The 2026 Appraisal Notices have been mailed. Please see below for the protest deadlines.

Mail 1: Real property (Residential and Commercial) notices mailed 04/14/26, Protest deadline 05/15/2026.

***All Real Property accounts will have a 2026 Appraisal Notice and Protest form available at the account level on DCAD’s website.

Mail 2: BPP notices mailed 05/12/26, Protest deadline 06/11/2026.

***All BPP accounts will have a 2026 Appraisal Notice and Protest form available at the account level on DCAD’s website.

Mail 3: Miscellaneous Notices mailed 06/01/26, Protest deadline 07/01/26.
(Leased Equipment, Utilities, Telecommunications, Aircraft, Special Valuations, Agricultural, Exemptions, and miscellaneous properties including ownership changes, re-notifications, and rendered properties).

***DCAD’s online uFile and Settlement System is the preferred method of filing protests for efficiency purposes.
